DESCRIPTION:Kick-off the weekend at Indigo Reef with Live Music from the talented Brandon Lamar Simmons! \nBrandon Lamar Simmons\, born and raised in Charleston South Carolina\, is a singer/songwriter\, producer\, and multi- instrumentalist. He played in multiple jazz bands as a trumpet player in his early years\, and has played drums in various bands since. At age 18 he decided to pick up a guitar\, take on the microphone and perform as a singer/songwriter. He went on to study recording engineering and music production and graduated from the Atlanta Institute of Music. Now he’s back in Charleston\, gigging around in various projects. Brandon is the drummer for “Token Mary”\, the lead singer in the duo “Brandon and the Archer” and continues to work on his solo music and any other musical opportunities he can get his hands on.
