DESCRIPTION:(Formally the West Ashley Restaurant Festival)\n\n\nThe 5th Annual West Ashley Family Festival (formally the West Ashley Restaurant Festival) hosted by the West Ashley Area Chamber of Commerce is a local small business vendors inspired event to be held on Sunday\, March 31\, 2024 (EASTER SUNDAY) at 3:00 PM-7:00PM. \nThe event welcomes diverse vendors and crafters representing the small business community with attendees throughout the Tri-County area but highlights the West Ashley footprint. \nAdmission is $15 (early bird special) and $25 general admission. The event is open to the general public and children. \nSeveral West Ashley businesses will be in attendance highlighting their products and services \, followed by music\, arts\, crafts\, food\, spirits and lots of fun for the entire family. \nThe Chamber and its planning council spearheads the event annually. A portion of the proceeds will benefit West Ashley Educators. Remaining proceeds will cover event expenses\, future marketing and advertising focused on growth and awareness of the festival\, its supporters\, and businesses within the district of West Ashley. \nPublic parking is available at Akerman Park on the side road of Sycamore Ave. Please follow traffic guards and representatives in place to guide you to the facility. Please follow the event signs as well. Spectators are encouraged to uber\, drive responsibly and cross all intersections crosswalks with care.

A brief break will take place mid-way through the workshop. \n \nAbout the Instructor \nBarbie Sawyer began painting in 2012. She took an acrylic painting class and found it wasn’t really what she was looking for so she signed up for a Bob Ross Landscape Oil Class. She fell in love with the oil paints and Bob’s techniques. She recently completed the Instructor Training program in Florida. She learned how to teach the “Wet on Wet” techniques and earned her certificate as a Certified Bob Ross Instructor. Come to one of her classes and “Paint Just Like Bob Ross (In One Day)” and you will leave with an impressive frame-ready painting.
