Jacoozy
Jacoozy is a band that thrives on connection, both with their audience and each other. Formed in 2021, the band emerged from the underground house show scene in Boone, North Carolina, blending Southern rock, jam traditions, and modern sensibilities. Their sound is built on live energy, with each performance capturing the raw spirit of their music—no studio tricks or polished layers. Jacoozy’s songwriting is deeply rooted in introspection, capturing moments of time and self-reflection while celebrating their Southern roots and the communities that have shaped them. The band’s approach to music is collaborative, shaped by their basement jams and experimental spirit. With a unique blend of influences and a clear mission to create authentic, live-driven music, Jacoozy’s future looks as promising as the stories they are telling.
Kendall Street Company
Virginia’s Kendall Street Company are no strangers to having a wild time. The genre-fluid, eclectic rock ensemble has drawn varied comparisons to the dynamic jams of Umphrey’s McGee and Widespread Panic, songwriting prowess of John Prine, experimental psychedelia of Pink Floyd, progressive jazz-infused rock of Frank Zappa, and off-color humor of Ween and They Might Be Giants. Including elements of crowd participation, off-the-cuff comedic bits, haphazard choreography, musical improvisation, and surprise musical guests, each Kendall Street Company concert is an experience unlike any other. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry. Just remember to stay hydrated.
In addition to their reputation as must-see live performers, the Company’s prolific immunity to writer’s block has led them to release over 100 original songs between eight studio albums, three live albums, and four EPs in a period of just nine years. 2025 will see the release of (at least) an additional studio record, a handful of singles, and who knows what else! You can also enjoy a massive selection of live shows here through our direct-to-band subscription and nugs.net. These often include unreleased and improvised tracks, as well as covers ranging from the Grateful Dead to DEVO, to Alanis Morisette, to Soulja Boy, to Cake, to Mapache, to Billie Eilish, to really whatever we might be listening to. With a full in-ear monitor and multitrack recording rig, the band continues to capture the moments that mean the most to fans.
