Tell Your Story

Can music inform our sense of place? Time? Experience? And do those elements inform music in turn? Four Spoleto Festival USA Orchestra members seek to answer these questions with members of the Charleston community. Pairing emerging composers with entrepreneurs, artists, and activists, the “Tell Your Story” project creates powerful sonic collages and aural memoirs—“mechanisms for professional artists to lift up voices that otherwise go unheard” (The Post and Courier).

This we are highlighting the story of Cristian Diaz, a WAF volunteer, and Jen D’Allesandro, a WAF required.
