North Charleston Chick-fil-A on Rivers Avenue Slated for Demolition and Rebuild

In a significant change for a major North Charleston thoroughfare, the Chick-fil-A restaurant located at 7616 Rivers Avenue is set to be demolished and rebuilt from the ground up. The project also includes the demolition of the adjacent Wild Wings Cafe.

According to a report from What Now Charleston, the project is currently in the early stages of the local approval process. The local Owner-Operator, Chad Burn, will remain in his position, continuing to serve the community with the brand’s signature hospitality.

While the exact timeline for the project has not been announced, customers can visit two nearby locations during the closure: one at 4926 Centre Pointe Drive and another at 8455 Dorchester Road.

This move follows a trend of popular fast-food chains updating their locations to better serve customer needs, with the new building intended to provide an improved experience for the North Charleston community.
