Hachiya Ramen to Open Second Charleston-Area Location in Cainhoy on November 2
Charleston-area ramen lovers have a new destination to look forward to as Hachiya Ramen prepares to open its second Lowcountry restaurant on Monday, November 2, 2026.
The Japanese restaurant is expanding from its original Mount Pleasant location to 654 Hopewell Drive, Suite 110, in the growing Point Hope and Clements Ferry Road corridor.
Hachiya Ramen has developed a following for its traditional Japanese noodle dishes, slow-cooked broths, and fast-casual dining experience.
What’s on the menu?
The new location will feature the same menu as its Mount Pleasant counterpart, including:
- Tonkotsu ramen with a rich pork-based broth
- Spicy and vegetable ramen options
- Japanese-style fried chicken, known as karaage
- Gyoza dumplings
- Onigiri rice balls
The restaurant is particularly known for its carefully prepared tonkotsu broth, which takes approximately 48 hours to make.
A growing dining destination
The expansion adds another dining option to the rapidly developing Point Hope community, where new restaurants, shops, and residential neighborhoods continue to take shape.
The new location is slightly smaller than Hachiya’s original restaurant at 996 Johnnie Dodds Boulevard in Mount Pleasant, but diners can expect the same menu and hospitality-focused service.
