Shake Shack Opens Its First South Carolina Location Sept. 23 at Tanger Outlets Charleston
Shake Shack is officially bringing its first South Carolina location to North Charleston.
The new restaurant at Tanger Outlets Charleston will open to the public on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 10 AM, following a 9:30 AM ribbon-cutting ceremony. The 3,500-square-foot restaurant is located at 4840 Tanger Outlet Blvd., Suite 791, near Abercrombie & Fitch.
The Charleston opening marks Shake Shack’s first location in South Carolina. A second South Carolina restaurant is scheduled to open in Greenville two days later, on Sept. 25.
Opening day will include giveaways for early guests. Shake Shack says the first wave of customers will receive South Carolina-themed cold cups, and gift-card giveaways are also planned while supplies last.
The opening will also include a local charitable component. Shake Shack says it will donate $1 from every sandwich sold Sept. 23 to Lowcountry Food Bank, supporting the organization’s work addressing food insecurity across coastal South Carolina.
The Charleston Outlets location will operate daily from 10 AM to 11 PM. Shake Shack’s menu includes its signature burgers, chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, hot dogs, frozen custard, shakes and lemonades.
