Charleston Wine + Food 2027 Schedule Is Out — Here Are the Events We’re Watching
Charleston Wine + Food has officially released its 2027 festival schedule, and if there’s a specific dinner, party or culinary experience you already know you want, it may be worth planning ahead.
The festival returns March 3–7, 2027, marking its 21st installment, with events spread across Charleston over five days. Public ticket sales open Thursday, Oct. 8 at 11 AM EDT.
The schedule includes everything from major signature events and Culinary Village to smaller restaurant dinners, wine lunches, late-night parties and culturally focused experiences.
For us, a few events immediately stand out.
L’Afrique, C’est Chic at Bintü Atelier
One of the strongest events on the schedule is L’Afrique, C’est Chic, a signature dinner at Bintü Atelier on Friday, March 5.
Charleston chef Bintou N’Daw Young will host the dinner alongside visiting talent including Demetrius Brown of Heritage Supper Club in Atlanta. N’Daw Young, a Senegalese and French chef, has built Bintü Atelier around African-inspired cuisine and was named a 2026 James Beard Award semifinalist for Best Chef: Southeast.

Gullah Geechee Sunday Supper: The Bahamian Edition
The festival’s Gullah Geechee Sunday Supper returns March 7, this time with a Bahamian edition.
The event builds on the festival’s ongoing focus on the foodways, history and traditions connecting Charleston’s Gullah Geechee culture to the broader African diaspora.
Bahamian chef Simeon Hall Jr. is among the featured participants. Hall’s work centers Bahamian culinary heritage, local farmers and fishermen, and the preservation of Caribbean food traditions.

Island Time: The Caribbean Table
Another event worth watching is The Caribbean Table, scheduled for Thursday night.
The experience is part of a schedule that continues to make room for Caribbean foodways alongside Charleston’s broader culinary identity. Charleston-based culinary historian Robin Lee Griffith, whose work includes interpreting historic and archaeological foodways, is among the participating talent.

The event runs from 7:30–10 PM and brings together chefs and food businesses in a festival-style setting. Among the participating talent currently listed are Charleston’s Daddy’s Girls Bakery, Don Luchi Wines, and Haitian-American chef Chris Viaud.

Culinary Village returns for three days
One of Charleston Wine + Food’s signature experiences, Culinary Village, returns Friday through Sunday at Johnson Hagood Stadium.
The festival’s talent hub lists Culinary Village from 2–5:30 PM each day, giving attendees a large-scale mix of food, drinks and participating culinary talent in one place.
For people who would rather sample broadly than commit to one restaurant dinner, this is probably one of the easiest ways to experience a large portion of the festival.
Opening Night kicks everything off
The festival officially gets underway Wednesday, March 3 with Opening Night, scheduled from 7–9:30 PM.
The newly released schedule lists tickets at $240.35.
Later that night, The Vinyl Party Remix runs from 9 PM until midnight, giving the opening day a late-night option as well.
There’s a lot more on the schedule
Those are only a few of the events we’re watching.
The full 2027 schedule also includes restaurant signature dinners, wine lunches, brunches, classes, tastings and parties throughout the city.
Charleston Wine + Food says all festival events are 21+, and valid ID is required. The festival also uses a clear-bag policy for attendees.
