Tommy Condon’s Brings Guinness & Oyster Fest to Downtown Charleston October 24
Oysters, Guinness, live music, and personalized keepsake glasses are on the menu for the Irish pub’s inaugural celebration.
Charleston, who’s ready for oysters and a cold Guinness?
Tommy Condon’s Irish Pub & Restaurant is bringing a new celebration to downtown Charleston with its first-ever Guinness & Oyster Fest, happening Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 1–5 PM.
The Church Street staple is pairing a Lowcountry favorite with an Irish classic for an afternoon of oysters, Guinness, live music, and a special giveaway for early ticket buyers.
And with packages starting at just $10, it’s an affordable addition to Charleston’s October event calendar.

🦪 Two Ticket Packages Starting at $10
Guests can choose between two options:
Oyster Bucket Package — $10
Includes one bucket of oysters.
Guinness Oyster Package — $15
Includes one bucket of oysters plus one Guinness.
Both packages are valid for the October 24 event. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase.
🍺 The First 40 Guests Get Something Special
Here’s an extra reason to grab your tickets early!
The first 40 guests who purchase the $15 Guinness Oyster Package will receive a personalized engraved Guinness glass featuring their name.
Eligible ticket holders will be contacted to provide their engraving information.
The glasses are limited, so purchasing early is encouraged.
🍀 Guinness Has a Historic Connection to South Carolina
Here’s a little Lowcountry history to go with those oysters.
According to Guinness’s historical records, October 16, 1817, marks the brewery’s first recorded shipment of eight barrels of Guinness porter destined for America, with South Carolina identified as the destination.
That means the inaugural Guinness & Oyster Fest is taking place during the month of the 209th anniversary of Guinness’s historic American connection.
Pairing Guinness with Charleston’s oyster traditions makes for a fitting combination at one of downtown’s longtime Irish pubs.
🎶 An Afternoon of Oysters, Music, and Charleston Hospitality
Tommy Condon’s has been a familiar downtown gathering place since 1984, offering Irish-inspired food, drinks, and live entertainment just steps from the Charleston City Market.
The inaugural festival brings those traditions together with a distinctly Lowcountry touch.
Whether you’re a longtime Tommy Condon’s regular, an oyster lover, or just looking for something different to do on a Saturday afternoon, this celebration offers another reason to spend time downtown.
