Charleston Wine + Food’s Summer Sizzle Is Back With Chef Dinners, Wine Lunches & Cocktail Experiences

The summer-long series brings ticketed culinary experiences to Charleston through August 18.

Charleston’s food scene is not taking the summer off.

Charleston Wine + Food’s Summer Sizzle is back for 2026, bringing a lineup of chef-driven dinners, wine lunches, cocktail experiences, bar takeovers, and hands-on cooking classes to locations across Charleston.

Unlike the main Charleston Wine + Food festival, Summer Sizzle is not one big weekend or one single event. It is a summer-long series of smaller, more intimate culinary experiences designed for people who want something a little different on the calendar.

Think espresso martinis, Lowcountry cooking, West African flavors, bourbon pairings, handmade pasta, ceviche, Filipino family meal, honey cocktails, wine tastings, and restaurant collaborations.

Several events are already sold out or showing limited availability, so if you see something that sounds like your kind of night, this is not the one to wait on.

Why This One Matters

Summer Sizzle gives Charleston another way to experience the city’s food and beverage scene outside of the main festival season. It also gives local chefs, restaurants, bartenders, beverage pros, and hospitality teams another platform to showcase what makes Charleston one of the country’s most talked-about food cities.

For locals, it is a strong “date night / girls night / foodie night / try something new” option. For visitors, it is a way to tap into Charleston’s culinary scene without waiting for the main festival.
